Elegant white porcelain statue from the renowned 1914 “Red Hunt” series, produced by the prestigious German manufacturer Nymphenburg. On the underside, it bears the shield mark used between 1910 and 1975, along with model number 382-1. The piece depicts a rider during a hunting scene, with the horse captured in full motion and a dog at his feet—a dynamic composition rich in detail, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of Nymphenburg porcelain.
The statue has undergone meticulous restoration involving several parts: one of the horse’s legs, the ears, part of the sword, the crop and reins, one of the dog’s legs, and part of the tail have been reconstructed to restore harmony to the piece. Despite these restorations, the sculpture retains strong aesthetic and historical value, making it ideal for collectors and lovers of antique porcelain.
This statue is a rare example of early 20th-century Nymphenburg production, perfect for enriching a collection or as a refined decorative element in an elegant setting.
