Refined antique table crucifix featuring a finely decorated wooden structure and an unglazed biscuit‑ceramic Christ figure, crafted in a devotional classical style typical of productions from the late 19th to the early 20th century. The figure of Christ, modelled with good anatomical detail and the characteristic matte surface of biscuit porcelain, stands out through a pleasing contrast of colour and material against the cross, which is embellished with pierced metal ornaments and gilded details that enhance its decorative value.

The base is not made of wood but of a moulded composite material, likely stucco or terracotta, finished to imitate bronze. It features a figurative decoration with a symbolic lamb, an iconographic motif commonly found in sacred art objects; one of the lamb’s ears is missing, as clearly visible in the photographs.

The piece shows signs of wear consistent with its age, including abrasions, partial loss of gilding with small touch‑ups, minor oxidation, and a diffuse patina on all surfaces, as well as age‑related marks on the wood and metal decorations. These imperfections do not compromise its stability or aesthetic impact; rather, they attest to its authenticity and history, making it particularly appealing to collectors of antique sacred art, devotional objects, and period religious furnishings.

This antique decorative crucifix is ideal both as a collectible item and as a decorative element for interiors with a classical, religious, or vintage style, and it is perfectly suited for display in a cabinet or on a home altar.
