Splendid antique devotional statue, crafted with terracotta head and limbs, straw body, and glass eyes, typical of sacred production from the 19th to early 20th century. The facial expression retains a particularly intense presence thanks to the artisanal workmanship; the colour has been retouched in small areas, as visible in the photos, to preserve the aesthetic harmony of the piece. On the back of the head there is a small hole, likely intended for an aureole that is now missing.
The fingers have been reconstructed through a conservative intervention respectful of the original structure. The garments show wear consistent with the age of the piece, while the wooden base also features colour retouching, carried out to even out the surface while maintaining the authentic character of the object.
